The Newfield Tavern is a suburban tavern situated in the South Eastern area of Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand. They have been serving customers for over 48 years and are a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
The tavern boasts a large sports bar with two big screens showing all the major sporting events. They also have an open fireplace, a garden bar, a pool table, and dart boards. There is a TAB, restaurant, and bottle store on site as well.
The Newfield Tavern is open 7 days a week from 11am to late. They offer bar meals from Wednesday to Sunday, with lunch served from 12pm to 2pm and dinner served from 5pm to late. They also have a number of regular events, including bingo on Thursday nights, raffles and Spin the Wheel on Fridays, and a pub quiz on Sundays.
