HOKIANGA VIEWS
My husband and I have stayed in this motel a few times over several years and even a couple of times with our children. The room and beds are clean and comfortable and the towels are wonderfully thick. Some rooms have a view of the harbour where you can see the ferry crossing but, it's okay if you don't have that view because you can go downstairs and sit outside and have dinner while watching that beautiful scenery or dine inside. They have beautiful meals and at a reasonable price even their rooms are quiet cheap. The showers AWESOME hot, heaps of pressure and clean/tidy. They have a few local shops e.g. takeaways, café, four square etc... The main town for shopping is only a half an hour away in Kaikohe where you will find places like McDonalds and The Warehouse etc... The bar itself is very welcoming with a beautiful little fireplace and as for the owners they make you feel right at home. I would definitely recommend staying here.
