The Te Puka Tavern is an East Coast icon. Sitting on the water’s edge looking out over beautiful Tokomaru Bay, it is the ideal place to stop rest and meet the people of the East Coast. Te Puka has been feeding and watering travellers since before 1900. Rebuilt after Cyclone Bola swept the original pub off its foundations.
