The Twisted Hop opened on the Ferry Road in November 2012. With a history in Christchurch going back to 2004, we are a craft beer pub specialising in English style cask conditioned beers.
Our own beers are brewed in Christchurch and are delivered fresh from The Twisted Hop Brewery in Wigram.
The cask conditioned real ales are chilled to 12 degrees and are served in the traditional manner from the firkin using a beer engine. This method ensures the beer is presented to you in top condition.
The cask conditioned beers are available in riggers (either ours or yours) to 'take away'
We also have a range of our own craft keg beers, colder at 4 degrees and available on tap.
In addition, we offer a changing range of guest craft beers from around New Zealand.
We offer a great food selection from snacks, pizzas and a la carte, through to formal dining for larger groups of up to 40 people in a private function room.
