The Tauranga Lone Star restaurant celebrates the fact it’s established in the town that claims to be the “Gold Coast” of New Zealand. Tucked away at the base of an extinct volcano at the western end of the prosperous Bay of Plenty, Tauranga means ‘safe anchorage‘in Maori, and just over the bridge, Mount Maunganui. is definitely the place to be in summer, especially around New Year. The Tauranga Lone Star restaurant has an amazing outdoor area in which to enjoy the stunning weather the region provides with a couple of quiets before dinner. Our Restaurant caters for up to 110 guests and, don’t forget, children are most welcome.
