The Middlemass family purchased the Tavern on Christmas Day 1999. Lesley Middlemass is your host, guide and if needed - she'll be your driver! Chatto Creek is privileged to still have some of the original farming families still supporting the Tavern and the district.
The Tavern has just celebrated its 125 year anniversary having been originally built to replace the "Three Horse Shoes" hotel after it had burnt down. It was a Cobb & Co shop and a welcoming refreshment stop and accomodation for weary travellers.
